Introduction
The Technology Council is a group of MACNY members interested in the role of technology in successful business. The Technology Council was formed in the recognition that manufacturing has always been and continues to be the expression of technology in real world practical applications. As such technology is a strategic imperative for modern manufacturers, even more than it is for other businesses.
The role of information technology makes this even more clear. Information Technology is an increasingly central strategy for manufacturers and the Technology Council recognizes this in its programming.
