Did you know that the month of October is recognized by New York State as the statewide celebration of manufacturing? Last year, MACNY, The Manufacturers Association and Partners for Education & Business, Inc. (PEB) engaged nearly 400 students and educators in learning about career pathways with local companies and the products they produce through tours and hands-on activities.
This year, we will continue the tradition as manufacturing companies invite students and educators to witness manufacturing innovation and ingenuity in action.
EMPLOYERS
This year, our team at MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, will be kicking off our month-long celebration on Thursday, October 3rd with weekly tours and hands-on activities with companies across Central New York throughout the month of October. This is an opportunity to engage high school students and ignite their interest in local manufacturing careers. Participate as a host location and share your business with the workforce of tomorrow!
