We’re excited to announce the expansion of our team with the addition of four key staff members, as well as an internal promotion, to support our organization’s programmatic growth.

Amanda Serow has joined the team as a Senior Accountant with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and over three years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. In this role, she will assist in managing state and federal funding sources, ensuring compliance with federal grant requirements, and supporting monthly budget monitoring and variance analysis. Amanda’s strong background in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls make her a valuable asset as we continue to grow and serve the manufacturing community. We are thrilled to have her join us and look forward to the expertise and leadership she will bring to our accounting team.

Jason Poole brings over a decade of experience in business development, sales, and team management, most recently serving as a Resource Developer at Merit Apprenticeship Alliance. As a Workforce Development Specialist, Jason will focus on the New York Registered Apprenticeship Manufacturing Program (NY-RAMP), working closely with businesses, educators, and community partners to provide workforce solutions and training. His expertise in building relationships, driving project execution, and identifying apprenticeship opportunities will be invaluable to our mission. We are excited to have Jason join our team and look forward to his contributions in expanding workforce development initiatives throughout New York State.

With a strong background in marketing, content creation, and digital media, Lauren Devlin brings a wealth of experience to our team as a Marketing & Communication Specialist. Her previous role as an Assistant Editor and Post Production Coordinator at Spacestation has honed her skills in executing both long and short-form content while collaborating closely with production teams to meet tight deadlines. Lauren’s previous experience also includes social media management, website development, and event support, having worked as a Marketing Associate at Terra Science and Education. We are confident that Lauren’s talent for strategic communication and content management will be a valuable asset as she supports MACNY’s marketing and communications initiatives, event coordination, and various projects across multiple departments.

Lindsay Fay brings valuable experience to our team as a Workforce Development Specialist with a background in recruitment, customer service, and workforce development. In her previous role as a Field Recruiter at Remedy Intelligent Staffing, Lindsay honed her skills in screening, interviewing, and placing candidates, with a focus on manufacturing. She also has a strong foundation in managing community partnerships and enhancing client relationships. Lindsay’s expertise in career pathway development and her passion for workforce solutions will be instrumental in supporting MACNY’s apprenticeship initiatives and advancing our mission to build and strengthen the manufacturing workforce in Central New York.

We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Eileen Donovan to Manager of Apprenticeship & Workforce Development, where she will take on a leadership role in expanding statewide and federal initiatives, representing programs and participants to employers, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert on MACNY services for businesses, community partners, and schools.

Randy Wolken, President & CEO of MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, shared, “We are thrilled to welcome Amanda, Jason, Lauren, and Lindsay to our team.
