Teaming Up to Register Apprenticeships
Congratulations to the 11 apprentices who graduated from the first NYC Department of Small Business Services cohort of the Accelerated Apprenticeship Program, mentored by MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, with support from JFF’s Department of Labor manufacturing partner contract, and inspired by the very successful Vermont HITEC program. After successful pilots in central New York and with over 15 employers already participating, the entry-level manufacturing apprenticeship program is poised to launch statewide.
