On September 18, SRC, Inc. hosted the inaugural FALLanthropy Games as a fun and rewarding way to connect with industry colleagues while raising money for local STEM charities.
Employees from CXtec and TERACAI, INFICON, King & King Architects, Saab, SOS, and SRC competed in a variety of “field day” competitions for the honor of choosing the STEM charity that would receive this year’s grand prize of $3,000. Though the competition was fierce, King & King employees ultimately emerged victorious and selected Partners for Education & Business (PEB) as the recipient of the donation.
“We would like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in the 2019 FALLanthropy Games,” said Paul G. Tremont, CEO of SRC. “These games are a way to recognize and reflect on the effort and impact that these STEM-related charities have on our community. Our objective is to raise awareness for STEM careers and illustrate how rewarding and fun they can be. It’s also to highlight all the great STEM organizations and opportunities right here in CNY.”
“Yes, we won the event last night against some tough competition, though the real winners are the current and future students and educators who will benefit from the many great programs offered by Partners for Education & Business!” said Jim King, Partner at King & King.
