We are excited to announce the promotion of Althea Strife to Workforce Development Specialist.

Althea first joined MACNY in 2020 as an Apprenticeship Coordinator with a strong administrative and accounting background. She jumped in to support MACNY’s Workforce Development team in documenting and tracking the success of Registered Apprentices. In her new position, Althea will support MACNY’s New York State Manufacturers Intermediary Apprenticeship Program (NYSMIAP). She will play an integral role in maintaining relationships with new and existing companies participating in NYSMIAP, while also coordinating related instruction and on-the-job training for apprentices.
