CNY STEM Scholars

The CNY STEM Scholars program is a partnership between SRC, King + King Architects, Schneider Packaging Equipment Company, C&S Companies, Carrier Corporation, the CNY STEM Hub, and Partners for Education and Business.  The scholarships are designed to support the best and brightest students in the Central New York Region in their quest to pursue science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields in college.

Scholarships, totaling $104,000, were awarded to eight high school seniors entering a higher education program in the Fall of 2017.  Each scholarship will include an internship during the student’s sophomore and junior year with the potential for hire after their senior year.

Now entering its sixth year of awarding scholarships, PEB includes 600+ high-achieving STEM Scholar applicants in invitations to participate in an event twice a year that provides them with networking opportunities with area businesses, workshops on building an impressive resume, how to have a successful interview, and also provides opportunities for internships and jobs.
