The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) released, on March 5, 2018, a reduction to the maximum contribution limit for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) for 2018.
The new limit for those with family coverage is $6,850, revised downward from $6,900. Self-only coverage did not change and remains at $3,450.
This change is a result of the IRS making adjustments to accommodate the new tax reform bill.
