MFG Month is a national effort led by the Manufacturing Institute encouraging companies to open their doors to students, parents, educators, and community leaders. It is an opportunity for manufacturers to open their doors to provide tours of their facilities to educators and students. Employers can showcase their innovative technology, demonstrate how local products are made, and inspire the next generation to pursue careers in manufacturing.
This year, our team at MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, will be kicking off our month-long celebration on Thursday, October 3rd with weekly tours and hands-on activities with companies across Central New York. This is an opportunity to engage high school students and ignite their interest in local manufacturing careers. We hope you will consider participating as a host location and open your doors to the workforce of tomorrow!
Create an awareness of the great products made here locally in Central New York and the many career pathways that exist in your manufacturing facility to keep it running successfully.
With a wide range of sponsorship opportunities available, this is the perfect time to promote your company’s products, services, and career opportunities across Central New York.
Help us make this a day to remember for participating students with exciting giveaways to include in the drawstring bags we will be giving to students to celebrate Manufacturing Month.
