Syracuse P-TECH Juniors are Offered Summer Jobs, Summer Internship Opportunities by Supporting Companies
A new addition to the P-TECH Program for rising seniors was coordinated by PEB as part of the Summer Bridge Program. Several companies or organizations provided summer job opportunities to interested P-TECH students. The companies provided a posting of the job description, requirements, and dates/hours that were displayed in the Technology classroom. Interested students applied directly to the companies and initial interviews were held at the school.
Another opportunity will also be afforded to some of the P-TECH juniors who are interested in unpaid summer internships. Several companies who have been partnering with the P-TECH Program will be providing internships for two or three weeks that will give students the chance to be involved in actual work projects which will be beneficial to both parties. Thank you to DARCO Manufacturing, G.A. Braun, Kilian Manufacturing and United Radio for offering these positions to P-TECH students!
